Hi All, We're here and asking for prayer. Seth went out for a post op at Iowa City today. He saw Dr. Bishop (GI) and Dr. Shilyanski (surgeon). He got a good report. All went great and we went to Chili's for some lunch and headed home. Seth started not feeling well in the car and by the time we got home he was really sick! He is suffering with a lot of pain in his stomach. I asked him on a scale of 0-10 and he says it is an 8. He started vomiting this evening and can't quit. I called Iowa and talked with Dr. Chad Laurich (Sr. Surgical Peds Resident) He took care of Seth while in the hospital. He has called in an anti nausea med at CVS and I picked it up and gave it to Seth at 10:30 tonight. If it doesn't stay down we have been directed to go to OSF for an evaluation, IV's for nausea and hydration and xrays to check for an obstruction. Please pray that the pain will stop the meds will work and he will get some rest and be totally fine in the morning. I'm worried and I don't usually say that. I'll keep you all posted.
